First United Methodist Church in Lakeland Vacation Bible School 2014

Vacation Bible School 2014

workshopofwonders full logoJoin us June 23-27 for our summer Vacation Bible School “Workshop of Wonders: Imagine & Build with God,” where children will learn about ordinary people in the Bible that did extraordinary things when they trusted God!
Participants will hear amazing stories of what can happen when they use their heart, mind and imagination to participate in the creative life of God, the one who works wonders. The curriculum is based on the scripture of Psalm 77:14a, “You are the God who works wonders.”
This week combines interactive Bible storytelling, crafts, science, recreation, music and even snacks for an experience that won’t soon be forgotten.

This year, we’ll once again offer two sessions – one from 9am – noon and another from 5-8pm. Registration will begin on April 12 at our Easter Eggstravaganza (from 10am-noon) and the cost is just $25 per child. If you’re interested in helping us make this ministry outreach event happen, please email Kim Mayes for more information and fill out the enclosed VBS adult volunteer application.
