Dear Christy, Saturday, Dec. 3, can be a wonderful snow-filled wintery celebration for your family to enjoy and make memories, then take home the materials to continue the fun and learning at home. Start your day at the Bay Street Bistro with Ms. Debbie ! A Waffle Bar Breakfast - enjoy your fill of freshly made waffles with a variety of toppings to choose from, includes hot chocolate, and coffee. Winter Wonderland Kindermusik Playdate - The whole family will enjoy interactive music activities with Ms. Debbie. Our musical adventures include snowy fun: snowflakes falling, snow balls abound, snowmen (children) are created and come to life, jingle bells ring, and the room turns into an ice skating rink. Then head over to the Lakeland Snowfest ! The City of Lakeland arranges for a generous mound of snow to be delivered on the east side of Lake Mirror, and it is ready for playful activities. Many other child friendly winter activities abound. Entrance to the Snowfest is free. A chance to play on the snow or enjoy the inflatable slide has a minimal charge of $1, or donate a can of tuna to help feed the needy in our community. This will make it easier to plan events in different locations, and let folks register more directly and easily.
