Outdoor Festivals this weekend, March 20

  • Mulberry Spring Fling will be held from 10 am until 2 pm, March 20 on the Purcell Elementary School campus. This event features food, drinks, entertainment, a rock wall, giant inflatables, music and pony rides. Proceeds benefit the Mulberry Community Service Center.
  • The Kathleen Area Historical Society will host the 19th annual Heritage Day Festival on Saturday, March 20 at Heritage Park, 8950 N. Campbell Road in Lakeland. Admission and parking are FREE. The hours are 9 am until 3 pm. All are invited to this day of old-fashioned fun, food and live entertainment. There will be old time demonstrators, a quilt museum, a country store, children's games, cake walk and crafts. The new museum on the festival grounds has just been completed and will be open to the public that day. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy the outdoor music.
