Catch the food truck craze at this year's Sandspur Seafood Festival. A variety of purveyors are offering a delicious assortment of seafood, as well as basic fare for the land lovers. But it's not all about the food, there will be craft vendors, games for all ages, musical entertainment, and boating.

The 20th annual Red Ribbon Run, free for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, will take place Saturday morning at Joker Marchant Stadium at Tigertown in Lakeland.
Participants who pre-registered through their school will receive a free Celebrate Drug Free Red Ribbon Run shirt.
Adults and older students can pay a $10 registration fee to compete in the open run.
Registration check-in starts at 7 a.m., with the first race at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded.
A Kids Health & Wellness Carnival will celebrate healthy living from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For $5, participants can gain admission to the carnival's interactive attractions, refreshments and entertainment.
The BloodNet USA bloodmobile will be present during the carnival.

LIVE animals such as Alligators, Bald Eagles, Owls, Snakes, and even a Florida Panther will make an appearance during the event, and you do not want to miss out on learning more about these animals. There will be tree climbing, nature art, a prescribed fire obstacle course and much more. There will be something for the whole family.
