The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

Addendum to Free Toy Story 3 on Ice tickets for Backpack offer

The following was in The Lakeland Ledger today and it now states more info. on the deal with the following restrictions.
"Donating a backpack Friday could win you a free ticket to the premiere of "Disney on Ice presents Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 3" at the Lakeland Center.

The first 100 people to donate a backpack will receive one ticket voucher for free admittance to the show on Sept. 3. The limit is one voucher per person and 2 vouchers per household.
Free vouchers can be redeemed at the box office where additional tickets can also be purchased.

LegoLand Open house Thursday

Legoland is holding a community open house from 4 to 7 pm Thursday in Winter Haven at the Orange Dome, 150 Cypress Gardens Blvd., Winter Haven.
The event is intended to acquaint local residents with Legoland Florida and how it will affect Central Florida. Attendees will see LEGO models, view park concepts and be able to ask questions about job opportunities.
Guests can help build a giant LEGO mural depicting the front entrance of Legoland Florida. When complete, the mural will be 9 feet wide, 5 feet tall and created out of 35,000 LEGO bricks.

Wednesday @ 10:30 am our preschool story time will be silly pirates (not scary) and will be making our own pirate hats for the crew!

Thursday @ 3pm we will going on a treasure hunt complete with maps, hats and bounty!

Friday @ 10:30 Katy Adams will bring her Pirates and Seafaring tales for all to her and participate in.
