April is all about Butterflies. In the Butterfly tent you will learn about their life cycle, and how important they are to propagating our native plants and flowers.

All Community days are from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and are FREE.

Community Day -Free and Open to Everyone
Trees are Terrific! 

 

Join us to learn more about trees. Nature crafts and activities will be scattered under the large... oaks of Circle B.

 FREE tree climbing for ages 6 and up. 

The Florida Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture will be holding their 2014 Tree Climbing Competition, Florida Forest Service will be helping us celebrate trees by giving away trees and there will be many more hands on activities, including a guided hike identifying trees along Alligator Alley.

Watch eagles soar and seek out the elusive scrub jay; build a bird box to put up in your own backyard and learn about birds of prey.

  Visit with and learn more about our Fine Feathered Friends of Central Florida. Visit with the Birds of Prey ambassadors.
